Using Call Feedback in the Meetings Tab

Updated over 3 months ago

After every call, Fluently saves a detailed feedback so you can review the conversation and know exactly what to improve next. All reports are stored in the Meetings tab.

How to open a report

Log in to Fluently, go to Meetings, and select the call you want to review. You’ll see a transcript of your conversation along with the tutor’s feedback. The transcript shows your lines and the tutor’s lines in the order they happened, helping you recall the context and how you used specific phrases.

Understanding highlights

As you read through the transcript, you’ll notice some words and phrases highlighted in different colors. These highlights mark areas for improvement. Each color corresponds to a skill: Pronunciation, Vocabulary, Grammar, or Fluency. Even if you don’t remember every detail of the call, the highlights point you straight to what matters most.

Feedback categories

Below the transcript (or in the recommendations panel), you’ll see the same four categories. Switching between them shows detailed explanations for each aspect of your speech.

Pronunciation

You’ll see words that were pronounced in a way that can be improved. In many cases, you can listen to how you said them and how the tutor pronounces them. This helps you hear the difference and practice the correct version.

Vocabulary

This section focuses on what you said, not how it sounded. You’ll see the expressions you used along with more natural or advanced alternatives. It’s a quick way to upgrade your phrasing and avoid repetitive language.

Grammar

Here you’ll see your original sentence and the corrected version, with the problematic part highlighted. This makes it clear whether the issue was word order, verb form, a missing article, or a preposition. The side-by-side comparison helps you remember the correct structure.

Fluency

This section covers how smoothly you speak. You may see notes about filler words like uh, um, or like, as well as your estimated speaking pace in words per minute. This gives you a sense of whether your tempo and filler usage help or hinder clarity.

How to get the most out of the Meetings tab

Make it part of your routine. After each call:

  1. Skim the transcript.

  2. Check Grammar to spot repeating structures you struggle with.

  3. Review Vocabulary and choose a few expressions to use in your next call.

  4. Listen to a couple of Pronunciation examples and repeat them out loud.

  5. Look at Fluency to understand your tempo and filler words.

Over time, you’ll notice recurring patterns. These patterns tell you exactly what to focus on in your practice.

Reviewing your progress

You can revisit older Meetings and compare them with newer ones. Progress becomes visible: fewer grammar issues, more varied vocabulary, fewer fillers, and a more stable speaking pace.
